My daughter wanted a marble run toy for her birthday. After some research, I settled on a toy called Quadrilla - which is a sophisticated construction toy. I searched around the internet and found this store had the best price for the toy I wanted to purchase.

THE WEB SITE -This web store sells items, mainly toys, for children. The web site is very functional and easy to use. The menus are easy to navigate and it is easy to find toys. Plus, the pictures and descriptions of the products are very good. There are no consumer reviews but that is typically the case on lesser-known sites. However, I was able to find consumer reviews on Amazon on the product I was interested in so that helped me make the decision.

ORDERING -Ordering was easy. I didn't need to enter unnecessary information. I didn't need to select a password or create an account or store my credit card number.

SHIPPING AND PACKAGING -My toy was made of hard wood. This store packaged my toy in a sturdy cardboard box that I could have used to make a return if I didn't want to keep the toy. I didn't pay any shipping costs for my toy.

STEALS AND DEALS -This site didn't participate in any rebate sites that I know of. I searched around but couldn't find any internet coupons.

CUSTOMER SERVICE -This is really where this site set itself apart. I got an email immediately after placing my order. It also appears that my item shipped immediately after I placed my order. I got my item in 4 days which is a land speed record. Most mail order places take at least a week - especially if you are not paying shipping costs.

FINAL RECOMMENDATION -I thought this store was great. It had the lowest price on the item I wanted. They kept me informed about the status of my order. My item came quickly and well-packaged. Overall, it was a great experience.

My son (4-1/2) was given this as a Christmas gift and it's the hands-down winner for best toy in the household. We have two other "marble run" toys - one made of wood blocks the other of plastic - and this is by far the most creative, versatile and exciting to use. Each of the color-coded blocks does something a little different, which makes for endless variations in building runs. The "twist and rail" set is an excellent starter since it has such a large variety of pieces. There are several layouts included in the pamphlet with step-by-step illustrations that our son can follow by himself. It takes us parents a little playing to remember what each color piece can do; so it's a fun challenge for young and old alike. We can't wait to add onto this set!! This is an heirloom-quality toy that is will be played with for many, many hours of fun by all of us. It is very sturdy and well-designed. If you think in terms of money spent per hours of play, this is a sound investment. Dee S.

My kids, my husband, and I love this toy. The blocks and rails are very sturdy and made well. You can even build a marble run on well padded carpet. We bought it for my daughter's sixth birthday two months ago. She and my 4 year old son play with it all the time. It is pricey, but well worth the investment. Most of my kids Christmas toys are now sitting in the corners of their rooms untouch, but the marble run is still keeping them busy. Pam L.
